I'm finding that, even with it being in a free venue and all, this here Edinburgh summer production is costing me more than I got.
A couple of years ago, I put out a call for contributions (& it WORKED!) but I figured it would somehow be wrong to do it again. Then I saw that Richard Herring had set up an online Edinburgh fund for people to contribute to and I figured if someone who has an income can do it, I can too.
The show will be really good this year. (The line-up thus far is in the post below this one.) And if you want, I'll put contributors names in a simple program along with whatever message you want the public to see -- just send it to me.
Last time, I asked for $20/10 quid and I guess that seems like not so much to ask, but -- of course -- even a buck would be well-appreciated and useful. (Well, not if only one person sent it, but if a BUNCH of people . . . )
You can go to http://paypal.com and follow the instructions to send money an e-mail address. My address is andrewjlederer@gmail.com. (You can even use a credit card.)
And iff you have trouble, simply write to me and I'll make it all better.
Ooh. Actually, I just got a link from PayPal to an official Anthology donation page. (Here it is: https://www.paypal.com/cgi
Anyway, thanks for the extra help if you end of sending something. Otherwise, thanks for your normal, much-appreciated, support.
Feel free to forward this request to others if you think they'll care. (But not to embarrass me.)
Your loving producer and host,
Andrew
